Throughout the year the St. Andrew Society hosts three events, each aiming to bring together Moscow's Scots and assorted misfits for fun and drinks and to make money for charity. The Summer Stramash, an outside event, is a great way to meet new faces and catch up with old ones, with whiskies, bands and beer. The St. Andrew's Night Ball, the Society's main event, celebrates St. Andrew's day with much whisky, haggis and hallabaloo, while the Burns Supper in January in honour of Scotland's leading poet, is a slightly more intimate affair. |
