The St. Andrew Society aims to support a range of local charities each year. If you are a charity interested in receiving support from the society, please contact us.
In the past our events have helped raise money and awareness for the following organisations:
Nastenka
Located in the paediatric cancer hospital on Kashirskaya in Moscow, the Nastenka fund seeks to provide children with malignant tumours treatment, free of charge, in compliance with international standards and their parents with comprehensive assistance.
The projects of Maria's Children International use the arts as an initial connector with children who live in compromised and difficult circumstances, which then opens them to their creativity and strengthens the knowledge of their unique self worth and abilities. The organisation's mission to create and support avenues for the forgotten children of the world to grow into healthy, happy, contributing adults in their own societies.
Kitezh is a network of therapeutic communities that offer children from orphanages homes in loving foster families. Living in the communities, the children benefit from the love and security of a family, beautiful surroundings, play therapy and an individualized education program.
Diema's Dream was established in 1998 to provide financial, medical, and educational support for both physically and mentally disabled children in Russia. The larger goal is to support changes in society and legislation in order to create social and medical support programs, which would allow parents to raise their children at home rather than living in institutions.
Taganka Children's Fund was founded in 1991 in a period of sharp economic crisis in Russia. Their first steps in the field of charity were connected with the distribution of humanitarian aid for one of the most unprotected social groups: disadvantaged families of Moscow's Tagansky District.
Today the Fund works not only in the Tagansky District, but supports more than 700 disadvantaged Moscow families especially single-parent families, large families, families with disabled children or parents.
